Modernism for a young family. A home from Nikos Valsamakis, one of the most important Greek architects of today. Guided by the client’s preferences, we worked on creating an individual story for each room and uniting them through a common stylistic thread. In the main living/dining area we created a custom dining table in glossy lacquer to perfectly depict an immense art piece from the artist Maria Fragoudaki. A corner sofa was designed around the fireplace together We borrowed the concrete that is applied in some pieces of furniture. Another characteristic element is the anthracite colour, used on the fire place wall and on some furniture. The predominant colour is an off white on the walls, grey oak wood and blue accents offer a soothing effect. We opted for less sophisticated luminaries, just to provide a more scenographic view.
